Yamaha had a problem: how could we get Brazilians to pronounce the name of its new scooter, Ray ZR? So we called in two specialists: Jackson Faive, fluent in two wheels, and Supla, fluent in English. The mission was simple: teach Faive how to say “Ray ZR.” But the more Supla taught him, the more wrong he got it. So we decided to make it Brazilian and simply call it ZR.
